• 3 rugs were made in this sequence.
• Rachel had some lovely Rowan wools in her yarn collection. She decided to carry on making rugs with these and others, to experiment with texture, finish & colour.
• Weight: 500gms per rug.
• Made August 2003.
• 20-30 strands of varied ply to create a light density and thickness to the rug.
• Over 100 wools used to create this rug.
• Mixed fibres 70% wool, 30% mixed fibres eg cotton, silk, acrylic.
• The body of the rugs are hand knitted on handmade needles - made by Rachel. The tassels are hand knotted. The edge is crocheted.
